How Anxiety Feeds Procrastination

How Anxiety Feeds Procrastination

The fear of not being able to accomplish the task in the perfect way or of being criticized can lead to procrastination, because the anxious mind imagines negative and catastrophic scenarios.
The belief that we are not capable or that we are not good enough to accomplish the task can lead us to postpone it, avoiding confrontation with the possibility of failure.
The anxious mind tends to focus on negative, ruminative thoughts, making it difficult to concentrate and focus on tasks, which contributes to procrastination.
